기존: 외국인 제외한 내국인 거주자
변경: 한국거주자 세율이 적용되는 한국거주자.
따라서, 2012.01.27 일에 올렸던 외국인의 해외주식거래 서비스 변경 안내 공지 내 2012.02.27일 시행 예정이었던 국내주민번호로 등록되지 않은 외국인 고객에 대한 신규 해외주식 계좌 개설 및 해외주식 매수 불가 방침은 폐지되었습니다.
주의: 미국/캐나다 국적 고객의 신규 해외주식 계좌개설 및 매수 거래는 기존과 동일하게 불가합니다.

[Announcement Change] Change in Overseas Securities Service for Overseas Koreans/Foreigners
Korea Securities Depository has changed the service group for overseas securities despository services as follows:
Before: Available for Local Resident Koreans Only (Not available for foreigners)
Change: Available for residents in Korea where Local Resident tax rate is applicable.
Therefore, the announcement made in 2012.01.27 (Changes in Overseas Securities Service for Overseas Koreans/Foreigners) regarding restriction for investors without Korean Domiestic Social Security Number as well as Investors with foreign citizenship in certain overseas securities services (opening new overseas accounts / making new purchase orders on overseas securities) has been revoked.
Please note that investors with US/Canadian citizenship are still restricted from the above services - as per current policy.
