예탁원에서는 예탁되는 외화증권의 투자자 자격을 대한민국 국적을 보유한 내국인 거주자로 한정함에 따라 다음과 같이 재외국민 거주/비거주자, 외국인 거주/비거주자 고객님의 해외주식거래 서비스가 제한됩니다.

2. 신규 해외주식계좌개설 제한:
- 시행일: 2012년 2월 27일(월)
- 내용: 시행일부터 내국인을 제외한 모든 외국인 고객님의 신규 해외주식(45) 계좌 개설이 불가합니다.

3. 신규 해외주식 매수 제한:
- 시행일: 2012년 2월 27일(월)
- 내용: 시행일부터 내국인을 제외한 모든 외국인 고객님의 신규 해외주식 매수가 불가합니다. (보유하신 주식의 매도는 가능합니다).

[Announcement] Changes in Overseas Securities Service for Overseas Koreans/Foreigners

Korea Securities Depository has implemented a new regulation of limiting overseas securities depository services to local residents only. In keeping with Korea Securities Depository’s new regulation, Leading will be restricting Overseas Securities Services for resident/non-resident overseas Koreans, resident/non-resident foreign clients as follows: 

1.  Subjects: Investors without Korean Domestic Social Security Number blockcode Investors with foreign citizenship

2. Restriction for Opening New Overseas Accounts 
- Effective Date: February 27th, 2012(Monday)
- Details: From the effective date, blockcode subject clients are restricted from opening new overseas accounts 945-accounts) foreigner

3. Restriction for New Purchase Orders on Overseas Securities:
- Effective Date: February 27th, 2012(Monday)
- Details: From the effective date, blockcode subject clients are restricted from issuing new purchase order on overseas securities. (Sell orders are still valid).
